I create mid-fired stoneware primarily by wheel throwing and slab building. I hand carve most of my pottery with floral and nature motifs. I mix my own glazes, and apply them by dipping, trailing, and brushing, then fire to cone six in oxidation. My pottery is functional, including ring holders, coasters, dinnerware, and kitchen accessories such as utensil holders and spoon rests. My dinnerware is food, microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. I melt marbles inside my ring holders and coasters, creating a sparkling, crackled effect.
