From the Artist:
I grew up as an 'Art Show Brat' in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My mother; Betty Ostrower, started the Southwest Arts Festival in 1973. The show was one of New Mexico's top juried art shows for over 30 years. When I wasn't volunteering for the Southwest show, I sometimes traveled to art shows with my father; Carl Fahringer. He was most famous for his fun and whimsical 'Wrong Brothers' Flying Machines. Photography was just one of his many talents.
I enjoy capturing Nature, as is. There is simple beauty and interesting architecture throughout Texas and New Mexico. I do not find it necessary to color enhance or creatively edit any of my photos. I enjoy sharing photographs of the landscape and architecture of the Southwest.
